Shamrock Athletic Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame was established in 1999 by the Scotus alumni/nae board to recognize student-athletes who made significant contributions to their sport at Scotus, to recognize coaches and athletic directors for extraordinary leadership of Shamrock Athletics, and to recognize boosters for special support given to Shamrock Athletics. Hall of Fame plaques may be viewed in the hallway outside of the Scotus athletic office. Inductions have been announced at the annual spring athletic banquets but beginning in the fall of 2008, new inductees will be announced at half-time of the Homecoming football game.

NEW SHAMROCK HALL OF FRAME INDUCTEES 2008
At half-time of the Oct. 3 Scotus Homecoming football game, athlete Kristie Korth Brezenski ’98 and booster Marc Wolfe ’78 were inducted into the Shamrock Athletic Hall of Fame. With this induction Scotus will have a total of 49 members in the Hall of Fame--established in 1999 by the Scotus alumni/nae board to recognize student-athletes who made significant contributions to their sport at Scotus, to recognize coaches and athletic directors for extraordinary leadership of Shamrock Athletics, and to recognize boosters for special support given to Shamrock Athletics. Hall of Fame plaques are displayed across from the athletic office entrance at Scotus Central Catholic. Kristie is the daughter of Terry and Sue Korth of Columbus. With her husband Jon Brezenski, the Korth’s have two children, Elizabeth and Emma and have resided in Columbus since May of2003. Kristie is a substitute teacher, stay at home mother, soccer coach and director of the Columbus Soccer Academy. Her husband Jon, also a 1998 Scotus graduate is a physical therapist and athletic trainer for Premier Physical Therapy. Marc Wolfe graduated from Scotus in 1978 and since then he has been very active in the Shamrock Booster Club and as a volunteer for Scotus athletic events. He is the son of Louise Wolf e and the late Wayne Wolfe of Columbus and he is employed at Vishay Dale.

Kristie Korth Brezenski ‘98
In volleyball, played on three state championship teams (1995, 1996, 1997.) 1st team All State Class C-1 and All-Class tournament team (1997.) In basketball, started on three state championship teams (1996, 1997, 1998) and one state runner-up team (1995). 1st team All State Class C-1(1998) and honorable mention All State (1997, 1996). In soccer, member of 1998 state championship team and broke a state record with 28 assists in one season. 1st team All Nebraska (1998, 1997), 1st team All State Class B and honorary captain (1998), 1st team All State Class B (1997), 2nd team All Nebraska (1996) and honorable mention All State (1995). Omaha World Herald Nebraska Female Athlete of the Year (1998). KLIR and Scotus Athlete of the Year (1998).

Marc Wolfe ‘78
(Booster)
A thirty-year member of the Shamrock Booster Club and has served as Secretary for more than 20 years—rarely missing the club’s monthly meetings in performance of his duties. Has been the keeper of the clock at all home varsity football and basketball games for more than twenty years and for volleyball games for many years, and has been a loyal volunteer at the finish line for Scotus track meets. His knowledge of Shamrock athletics and loyalty to his alma mater is unquestioned and an inspiration for all.
