Applicants must be in the upper 25% of the senior class, be at least a 2-year participant in 2 sports, earned a varsity letter in 2 sports and have a minimum ACT composite score of 24
2010 Maynard Jensen American Legion Memorial Scholarship Program
Applicants must be sons or daughters, grandchildren or great-grandchildren, adopted or stepchildren of members of Department of Nebraska, The American Legion or POW, MIA or KIA or any veteran that was a current American Legion member at time of death. Selection based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need and complete application. Deadline March 1, 2010 - $500.00.
Columbus Women's Club Scholarship
Applicant Must: 1. Be a senior female student of a Columbus area high school, 2. Be active in volunteerism and other community and school activities, 3. Show leadership qualities both curricular and extracurricular, 4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0, 5. Indicate school she is planning to attend (must be accredited instutution to include university, college, community college, or technical school), 6. Student may have work or colunteer work experiences.
Columbus Volunteer Fire Auxiliary
Applicant must have a C average or better, be involved in extra-curricular and school activities, demonstrate good citizenship and character and be the child of a Columbus Volunteer Firefighter or a Columbus Rural Firefighter or an Auxiliary member. $300 - Deadline April 1st, 2010.
Columbus Sertoma Club $500
Scholarship awarded based on academics, extra-curricular activities and goals and needs. Applicants must be submitted by April 1st, 2010.
Phi Delta Kappa - $250 (2)
Applicants must plan to major in elementary, middle level or secondary education, special education or English Language Learner programs. April 9th, 2010 Postmarked.
The American Legion Hartman Post 84
The award to cover up to $1500.00 in tuition and fees for one year at CCC - Platte and is not renewable. It will be paid upon proof of enrollment in the college. Payment will be made directly to Platte Campus administration office.

ACT Advantage Scholarship
This award is based on an ACT composite score of 21 or above and academic achievement. Please be advised that in order to receive an application for the ACT Advantage Scholarship, prospective students must have submitted their ACT scores to Central Community College. Scholarship aplication forms for the ACT Advantage Scholarship were sent directly to teh student's home address.

Offered to any graduating senior residing in Platte, Polk, Butler, or Colfax County with a minimum of a "B" grade, demonstrating a talent in the visual arts, and planning to major or minor in art. Value $250, due April 21st.
