Guidance Office

Welcome to the Guidance page, keep in mind this site is currently under construction. Here you will find helpful links, upcoming dates, available scholarships, and various resources. I am available to assist with class registrations, regular testing, ACT/SAT registrations, college applications, recommendations, transcript transmittals, scheduling college visits/dual credit or for college credit classes, and graduation. I coordinate orientations, meetings, special needs testing/services, Teammates’ matches, student recognitions, facilitate various out-of-school opportunities, host visits from college representatives, and the military.

MANDATORY tests administered include:
• 7th grade-ITBS
• 9th grade-ITED
• 11th grade-ITED and ASVAB (military)

Optional test opportunities include:
• 10th grade-PLAN (all students are encouraged to take)
• 11th grade-PSAT (top students take for National Merit competition)
• 12th grade-AP-Calculus
• Graduating seniors-UNL’s Math Placement (guidance office)
• Off-site ACT/SAT or COMPASS (for college admissions)

Parent and student visits/calls are encouraged and welcome! If you need to talk, I am available to listen and can offer outside available resources as needed. ”HE who began a good work will complete it… according to HIS purpose… to give you a future and a hope...”**
