Our fall play for this year is “Play On,” a comedy by Rick Abbott. It is really a play within a play complete with a director, a stage manager and a sound technician/ carpenter who even makes the coffee. The three act piece takes the audience through the process of rehearsal and performance in a very funny way. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. And, in Act III, when the authoress decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax to a thoroughly hilarious romp. Even the sound effects reap their share of laughter!

Production dates and times for the play are Friday, October 30th at 7PM and Sunday, November 1st at 2PM. All seats will be $5.00.
